The devastation caused by the tsunamis in Asia has reached crisis proportions. Families of victims and survivors are in desperate need. Our new site DisasterAid.org (http://www.disasteraid.org) covers this and other recent disasters as well as the processes that are needed to assist the victims of these tragedies. One of our newest sites, NonprofitManagement.org (http://www.nonprofitmanagement.org), provides information for people looking to create a nonprofit corporation. The content included both the advantages and disadvantages of creating a nonprofit organization and the necessary steps in the process. IRS Changes
The tax laws for nonprofit organizations recently changed. This past October official revisions were made to Form 1023, which is used to submit tax returns for US nonprofit organizations. The new form is available at the web site of the IRS at http://www.irs.gov/charities.
