Description:
Youth Haven Barrie is a christian based home that provides emergency shelter for youth aged 16-21. All meals are provided during the residents 30 day stay along with a small provision of necassary clothing and personal hygeine needs. The residents are asked to either be working full time or going to school. If not then they must be activly seeking employment in the community. We offer many referrals to the residents as well as life skills classes through the week were they work on subjects from budgeting, sex ed., cooking, shopping, and so on. |
