An interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion, shelter, housing and services. Address shown is for administrative offices. Transitions Programs on Commerce: Provides individuals and families stabilization, referral and assistance for up to 90 days. SAMMinistries on Blanco: Provides transitional living, life skills training and support (capacity of 40 families). SAMMinistries Transitional Housing: 25 houses available for rent to families progressing toward self-sufficiency, in a two-year program under the guidance of a caseworker. Also has emergency shelter on Commerce.
