CARITAS (Congregations Around Richmond Involved To Assure Shelter) is the largest emergency homeless shelter in the Richmond metropolitan area. The Villa's delivers seven major programs; which include, special, alternative and nontraditional education and care for children ages six weeks through high school; residential on-campus living and education for homeless children and their mothers; respite care for children with disabilities; residential emergency shelter and education for children in crisis; and, independent living for adults with disabilities.
