Ernestine's Women's Shelter creates programs to reduce the severe, lasting impact of violence and offers short-term crisis intervention as well as the long-term support services needed to safely leave abusive situations. Ernestine's trained staff members work with women and children to support their independence and assist them to make informed choices for their futures. The shelter accommodates 25 women and children in a secure setting and offers support and counselling 24hrs/day 7 days/week.
