Shelter 705-657-2232. ROC is a non-profit organization that serves the area of the Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield, Galway-Cavendish and Harvey, and surrounding areas with: -24 hour toll free crisis line 1-866-844-7622, seven days a week. The line is operated by our volunteers and staff of the women's residence of Brock Mission (Cameron House). All calls are confidential. -24 hour emergency shelter for victims of violence and their families as well as for individuals who suffer from loss of home through fire, flooding or other emergency due to natural disaster. Food. -ROC maintains a food bank available for individuals in need. -ROC provides clothes (gently used) for individuals and their families who are not able to provide them on their own. Counseling. -ROC provides free counseling and court appearances on an 'as needed' basis to victims of violence and their families. Violence awareness and prevention through actions such as a Peace March in recognition of the Week Without Violence (October 17-23), involving school children in expressing their knowledge and feelings about violence through painting the T-shirts.
